ACCRISOFT CORPORATION PRIVACY POLICY

This policy covers how we treat your personal information collected on our website, or that we otherwise receive, including information related to your past use of our site and services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, phone number, and your IP address.  All users of our website must agree to our terms and conditions of use, including all of our policies, as a condition to using our website. As part of that you agree we can receive, store and use personal information as provided in our terms and conditions, and as provided here and in our Cookie Policy.

The Information We Collect
We do not require visitors to supply personally identifiable information when accessing public areas of the site. When you browse the website, you do so anonymously, unless you have submitted an online registration form and selected a password. We do log your IP address (the Internet address of your computer) to give us an idea of which part of our website you visit and how long you spend there, and may link your IP address to other personal information if you have logged into our website through registration and a password, or if you submit a form from the site or otherwise request additional information even if you have not logged into the site.

We do collect personally identifiable information when you register, access certain restricted site areas, place an order, request other information, or otherwise communicate with us about our offerings. Additionally, we may collect personally identifiable information when you register to attend a seminar, ask to be included in an email or other mailing list, submit an entry for a sweepstakes or other promotion, or you submit your personal information to us for any other reason. From time to time, we receive personal information from business partners and vendors. We only use such information if it has been collected in accordance with acceptable industry privacy practices consistent with this policy and applicable laws. Personally identifiable information may be merged with other information we already know, such as whether you are a current Accrisoft customer, or whether you or your organization has had past contact with Accrisoft sales or marketing activities.

Your registration and logging into our website is your agreement and consent to provide us with personal information and your agreement on how we manage, maintain and use that information. Registered users are able to edit and update information designated by Accrisoft as user modifiable.  You may still visit our website without providing us with personal information by not registering and logging in, but you may not have access to all areas of the site or all services. You are always given the opportunity to unsubscribe to our emails.  We may send you informational emails from time to time to notify you of your rights or obligations if we determine that it is necessary to do so.

How we use the Information
We collect this information for a variety of reasons, including our effort to inform you of such things as product upgrades, special offers, and to ensure that you have access to information which is likely to be of interest to you. However, we do not sell or rent personally identifiable information to other organizations. On occasion, we may share personally identifiable information with an authorized Accrisoft solution provider.

We take measures to protect the security of your personal information and to ensure that your choices for its intended use are honored. We protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Unfortunately, we cannot, and do not, guarantee that data transmission over the Internet is secure, or that a malicious third party will not be successful at misappropriating your personal information from our servers. As a result, you provide us with your personal information at your own risk.

We strive to utilize a secure environment for credit card transactions. Once a transaction has cleared your credit card information is not stored by us.

All information collected by us, whether it originates from within or from the outside of the United States, is stored on our contract servers that are located in the United States and Canada.

We do not guarantee that your communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not described in this Privacy Policy, or in ways that you would not have chosen to disclose it. This includes, but is not limited to, required disclosures to the government, in response to court orders, by unlawful interception. We can (and you authorize us to) disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement or other activity that is illegal or may expose us to legal liability. Therefore, although we will endeavor to protect your privacy as described in this Privacy Policy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personally identifiable information or private communications will remain private.

Your account with us is password protected so that only you can access it and view the information relevant to the account. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. We will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or e-mail. Ultimately, you are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any account information.

When you use a mobile app, you can choose to allow access to your current location through settings on your device. If you choose to allow access, this location data may be collected anonymously as part of search requests logged by our servers. You can switch off the Mobile App’s access to your location at any time through your phone settings menu. We also may receive error reports to improve the app, which may include information about the mobile device type and version, and the phone id that we use to investigate the error.
