You can create a scheduled email campaign to automatically notify your members whenever their account is close to expiring. Here's how:

  1. Create an email marketing campaign to inform members that their account is due.
  2. Select a Frequency (e.g. weekly, monthly, etc.)
  3. Create a rule that selects which members to send the email to:

Example 1:
If you wanted select members whose accounts are due to expire within thirty days you would:

  1. Press the Edit Conditions button on the campaign and edit form to create a new rule.
  2. Select the "Include" action
  3. Select the "membership:expiration_date" field
  4. Select the "<" (less than) condition
  5. Then enter "30" in the days field
  6. To see the members that would be currently selected, if the email was sent out today, press the Calculate Total button

Example 2:
If you wanted select members whose accounts have already expired you would:

  1. Press the Edit Rule button on the campaign edit form to create a new rule
  2. Select the "Include" action
  3. Select the "membership:expiration_date" field
  4. Select the "<=" (less than or equal to) condition
  5. Then enter "0" in the days field
  6. To see the members that would be currently selected, if the email was sent out today, press the Calculate Total button

After saving the campaign, emails will be automatically sent out based on the Frequency that you selected and the rule that you created for it.
