Adding a new ticket category

Categories help sort and organize tickets for easier processing.

To add a new ticket category and allow new tickets to be grouped into it, take the following steps:

  1. Click on the Categories tab.
  2. Click on the Add a New Category button
  3. Enter a name for the new category.
  4. If you would like to upload an image to use in place of the category name, click Browse to upload the image.
  5. Click Add, and the new category will be added to the list.
