Customizing event registration notification emails

How do I customize event registration notification emails?
There are two basic ways you can customize the notification emails so you can tell which event the registration is in response to:

1. Enter the event name in the Subject field when you set up the event information. (Blue, Events, edit the event, Tickets subtab, Edit Form Configuration button, Email Subject field under Options).

2. Add a static, hidden field to the event registration form with information about the event. (Blue, Events, edit the event, Tickets subtab, Add a new Field button, select Static for type, Hidden Form Submission Label, then enter the appropriate information in the Label field). Note that this will output this information with the submitted form as well as in the other form submissions. However, it does not add anything to the event subject so the recipient will need to view the email to see the event it is referring to.

This did not help me at all, very frustrating this new format. I neeeded to adjust the confirmation message and it did not let me get there. I also wanted to add the security field for the CC and it did not appeared as well. I was not the one adding the payment option and the confirmation message.

Hello Michael, I'm sorry you're having trouble with the Event Email notification. What website and Event are you having trouble with?
