Eliminating Images

Mar 23, 2015 1:05 pm

Thanks, Proximity Productions for your support on my last question. I was able to successfully create the rotating image display on my product pages. Here's another question: I am trying to eliminate the red tag images you see on the following two pages: http://www.adamcamera.com/everything-else/ and http://www.adamcamera.com/rental-gear/. I have tried eliminating the image file from my file drawer and now the tags remain. I have been told the tags are built into the page and I'd have to re-create these pages from scratch without the tags. Is there a way you'd suggest I do it differently?

Many thanks,

Adam

Hi Adam,

It appears that those red tags are added via your stylesheet. Try going to Green > Stylesheets and looking at around line 191. You should see td .price set to have a style of : background-image: url("graphics/price-tag.jpg"); Removing that will remove the red tags, however it will also leave what looks like a blank space where they used to be. You will want to adjust the font colour to show the text properly against the white background.

Also note that the text right now simply reads: 75, 15, etc. if you need help changing the contents of those fields, let me know and I can take a look at getting those set up the way you like.

Hi Stephanie,

How do I access "Green," "Style Sheets?" Please let me know and thanks for your response.

I don't believe I have access to the Green Interface right now. Can you e-mail me a link to login? Thanks,
Adam

Hi Adam,

The Green interface can be accessed by clicking the green Cog in the top toolbar near the preview and logout buttons. Once there you can click on Stylesheets in the regular Freedom sidebar to access the Stylesheets module. If your account does not have permissions to edit the green interface settings, you will not see a green cog and will have to contact your solution provider (the company who made your website) and request those permissions.

Hi Stephanie,

The green cog doesn't appear on my home screen in the area you indicated. What steps do I have to take to get it there?

Hi Adam,

I believe that you will need to contact your Website Developer (Solution Provider) regarding changes to your website's code (HTML, CSS, etc.). Looking at your account it appears that Common Places is your Solution Provider. Here is their contact information:
