Using the freedom forum editor

What a new/typical forum post will look like in the freedom forum

The Freedom forum uses what's known as bbcode;

BBCode or Bulletin Board Code is a lightweight markup language used to format posts in many message boards. The available tags are usually indicated by square brackets ([ ]) surrounding a keyword, and they are parsed by the message board system before being translated into a markup language that web browsers understand—usually HTML or XHTML.

BBCode was first introduced in 1998 by the messageboard software Ultimate Bulletin Board (UBB).


So let's cover what some of the icons in the editor mean:
With this button you add and upload photos right while you make a new forum post and it'll wrap the image with bbcode like this

You can also link to external images using this icon , you can also do email addresses , links to external website .
