How To Send More Traffic to Your Landing Pages and Increase Conversion Rates

Tuesday, October 28, 2014

You already know you should use landing pages to welcome new traffic to your site. It creates a custom experience for each visitor and increases overall conversion rates, which means you can make more money with less effort.

But landing pages are useful for more than just generating new traffic — you can also guide visitors who are already frequenting your site. This is just as important, if not more so, because readers who are already hanging out on your website are likely more open to getting to know you and your services. So don’t forget to show your loyal visitors some love!

You’re probably already linking to content and pages on your site to boost SEO and help your website visitors find the information they need. Links are useful when you’re simply making a reference to content elsewhere on your site, but when you have a specific message or offer to share, you need to make it attractive and easy to find.

If you blog regularly, the bottom of each post is the perfect opportunity to prompt a new action from your readers. You can encourage them to sign up for your email list, make a purchase, or download a file. The goal is to increase the amount of time a website visitor spends on your site and focus their attention on actions that move them through your sales funnel. This way, they can develop a relationship with you and eventually become a paying customer.

The Call to Action module in Accrisoft Freedom makes it incredibly easy to design eye-catching buttons and graphics that direct the flow of traffic on your website. You can create a new button in the module - just give it a title, link it to a landing page, and customize the button with text and design settings.

Once you design your Call to Action, you can easily drop it into your content — whether in a blog post, a sidebar, a footer, or your web content. The module tracks analytics, including views, clicks, and conversions. You can even test several CTAs against each other to determine which produces the highest conversion rate. Plus, our Call to Action module works seamlessly with the Landing Pages module — which means you can direct your website traffic flow with minimal effort.
