E-Commerce Tokenization

When your website is accepting credit card payments, security is of the utmost importance. That’s why we now integrate with Customer Information Manager (CIM) from Authorize.net. This service uses a technology called tokenization, which stores customer information on Authorize.net’s servers, rather than your own. When a transaction takes place, only a “token” is transferred, rather than the actual credit card information, which is stored securely on Authorize.net’s servers. This means better PCI-DSS compliance, better security, and more protection against hackers and unauthorized transactions.
